It provides detailed information for diagnosing faults.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Programming and Settings<\/strong>: PTT provides access to vehicles&#8217; electronic control modules (ECUs) and enables programming or custom settings of these modules.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Software Updates<\/strong>: Software updates are necessary to improve the performance, safety and emissions of vehicles. PTT can update the software of the vehicles.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Functional Tests<\/strong>: PTT offers various functional tests to test many functionalities of vehicle systems. For example, it can check whether sensors and actuators are working correctly.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Special Functions<\/strong>: Some special functions offer customised services for specific vehicle models. This may include, for example, special operations such as reprogramming a vehicle&#8217;s interlock system.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<p>For Renault Trucks and Volvo Trucks, PTT is used by authorised service centres and independent car services to diagnose, maintain and program commercial vehicles.
